In here i'll speak about my process right now (as an artist) (studying at London Met)

I'm starting this (let's say) a bit late. I've been struggling to reconnect with coming back to university after a two year pandemic break. After that i remember that I was planning my final piece for my 2nd year and that it was really ambitious and hard. I was about to do a strike and try to close the uni, do picket lines as

... but it never happened.

Why did I wanted to make a strike? Well, there were several Higher Educaction strikes across britain in regards to Higher pay, better conditions, no more Zero-Hour contracts... but Londonmet wasn't included. I investigated why and some stuff that were unionized told me that the vote didn't reach the limit to be processed. So I wanted to 'show solidarity' and to 'propose a conversation' by making a strike.

A few days ago I found out that Maria Eichhorn did something that made me feel less alone. Her work creates this impact that is more material and direct rather than conceptual or abstract (even tho there's a concept)

I find this really interesting and also spent some time listening to the audio recordings of the symposium.
